Take Me to the River

[Verse] I've had my trials I made my mistakes But now that I've found the Lord I have been saved [Pre-Chorus] So I'll sing His praise All my days [Chorus] Take me to the river Let the water wash my soul Won't you take me to the river Where the spirit makes me whole Take me to the river I'm ready to go [Verse 2] I'm goin' to the mountain To hear His word And I'm gonna shout it So it can be heard [Pre-Chorus] So I give my life To the Lord [Chorus] Take me to the river Let the water wash my soul Won't you take me to the river Where the spirit makes me whole Take me to the river I'm ready to go
