Tower of Bubble

Verse 1: Long ago, under one united sky People gathered, their spirits high To build a tower, to reach heaven's height A shimmering spire, a bubbling sight Chorus: The Tower of Bubble, iridescent dream Spheres within spheres, not what they seem Inflating larger, climbing so tall Until the whole thing was bound to fall Verse 2: Layer on layer, the bubbles grew Bigger and bigger, into the blue A kaleidoscope castle, transparent and bright Refracting all colors, a prism of light Chorus: The Tower of Bubble, iridescent dream Spheres within spheres, not what they seem Inflating larger, climbing so high Until whirled away to fill the sky Until the whole thing was bound to fall Bridge: But the higher it rose, the more it would sway Piercing the sky, while the top drifts away, The slightest breath caused the whole thing to shake One wrong move and it all would break Verse 3: A mighty gust blew, the tower was done It burst into millions of bubbles that spun Scattering outward, a rainbow in flight Drifting away from that fateful site Chorus: The Tower of Bubble, iridescent dream Spheres within spheres, not what they seem Inflating larger, climbing so high Until whirled away to spin through all the sky
