Life Like A Comic
Lyrics written by M^SK © 2025 M^SK. All rights reserved. SKRRRAK! Pen hits the page like thunder through the spine. Ain’t no costume, ain’t no fame—just panels full of pain. This my story. - (THHRRWIP!) Let’s begin. [Chorus: SUPERHERO SAMPLE] Life like a comic—SPLAT! ink bleedin’ through the lines, Every CRACK! in my story be the hurt I rewind. I been flippin’ through them issues, tryna rewrite fate, But these villains don’t quit—they just shift shape. I keep drawin’—SCRITCH-SCRATCH! new frame, new stance, Tryna play the hero in a world that won’t glance. From the city to the cosmos, ZAP! to the fight, Every panel I’m in, I’m still swingin’ for light. [Verse 1] Yo— I was that kid with a pad and a pen—BANG! Sketchin’ my pain ‘til it turned into men. Heroes in hoodies, fists full of flame, Tryna make sense of a world with no name. CRASH! No cape on my back, just weight in my chest, No Metropolis here—just sirens and stress. I seen Jokers with badges, seen Thanos in ties, Lex Luthors get love while the real ones die. Some panels got torn—RIIIP!—mid-page twist, Some colors bled out when the punchlines missed. Issue #1 felt like “Goodbye” in disguise, But I drew through the dark with rage in my eyes. Kept it movin’—WHAM! plot thick as the scars, Ain’t no arc without pain, no peace without wars. Every origin’s ugly before it gets clean, Even Batman had nights where he couldn’t be seen. [Verse 2] SWOOOSH!! Used to dream I could swing past fear, Now I walk through the page with my doubt in the rear. Wanted heat vision—ZZZT!—to burn through lies, X-ray soul just to see what hides. But ain’t no super serum, no cheat code pass, Just the will to draw truth when the ink runnin’ fast. I seen heroes fall—BOOM!—off-panel, no fame, And villains get rich off trauma and blame. But I kept goin’—SFX: CLACK! CLACK!—pen like a blade, Carvin’ out sense in the mess I made. I paint pain like graffiti in frames, Each line I write makes peace with the shame. Redemption got fingers, and they stained in black, I been sketchin’ out closure that keeps lookin’ back. Ain’t no final edition, no neat end mark, Just pages of lessons and light in the dark.
