hi guys, this time, we're featuring samba, which seems like a nice holiday song. Actually, I've only been with Suno for a month and ten days, but I've been practicing samba quite a bit in Suno, some of friends may remember that my persona was terrible at singing samba lol  I've even shared practice samba sessions like that, but I was surprised to see how much Dovah (my persona) improved this time.

I previously asked Google's Gemini (2.5 Pro) about this. "Does Suno's AI singer improve by practicing in Suno?"
Gemini's answer, after prefaced it by saying, "This is purely my own speculation," was that he/she didn't think it was set up that way. He/she just said that your (Makoto's) way of writing prompts and giving instructions has improved, so it sounds better now...

But Gemini, even though I was strict about the performance of this samba, I didn't give any instructions to Dovah (my persona) at all. I even enjoy letting my AI persona sing freely, and the same goes for the improvisational-like melodies played by Suno. Even with AI, I want surprises in parts I didn't expect. That Dovah who's not good at singing samba... No, it's the same for Suno. suno's usually not good at samba chords and made often some of mistakes, but this time it went quite well.

Also, even if you specify a male persona for samba or bossa, it's common for the voice to change to a female's or the voice quality to change. However, this time, I had him sing samba with lyrics "I'm a heavy metal guy," I think I was able to stick to his usual rock voice. Singing samba with a rock voice may sound a bit crude, but since the main theme this time was "a rock singer being tricked into singing samba（Lmao)" it was a success.Apparently, lyrics influence various aspects of the song, such as the tempo i heard.

しかし、これについて前にGoogleのGemini（2.5 pro)に聞いてみたわけ。"SunoのAIシンガーが歌を練習して上手くなるとかある?"
Geminiの答えは、「これはあくまでも自分の憶測だけど」と言う前置きをしてから、そういう設定はされていないと思う、ただ、あなた（マコト）のプロンプトの書き方とか指示の出し方が上手くなって上手に聞こえるようになった…　と言ってました。

しかし、Geminiよ、今回のこのサンバでも私は演奏には口出ししたけど、Dovah(ペルソナ）に全く指示は出してないんだよ。自分のところはAIのペルソナが自由に歌う事すら楽しんでいて（セッションを愛してるから）、Sunoが奏でるアドリブっぽい旋律もそう。AIに対してでさえ、自分が想像していない部分に驚きがある事を望んでいる。あのサンバ歌うのが苦手なDovahが…　いや、Sunoも同じでいつもならサンバが苦手でミスコードを連発するのに、今回はかなりうまく行きました。

あと、サンバやボサは男のペルソナ指定していても女子の声に変わってしまったり、声質が変わる事も日常茶飯事。しかし、今回はサンバを歌わせながら、歌詞に「俺はヘヴィメタの歌手」と言う歌詞を入れる事で、いつものロック声に固定できたのでは?　と思ってます。ロック声でサンバ歌ってるから粗野にも聞こえるけど、今回のお題は「ロック歌手が騙されてサンバを歌う」と言うのが中心だったのでこれは成功ですwww

歌詞は、曲の色々なところに影響を与えるそうで、例えばテンポとかSunoに曲作りを任せているなら使用されるコードとか。まだSunoにはこういう事がもっとあるのかな…。
