Seasonal Autumn 2025 VI
[Verse 1: Hallowe'en, 31st October] The crisp air whispers, leaves begin to fall, As Jack-o'-lanterns light up one and all. Bonfire smoke, a scent so sweet, As trick-or-treaters fill the street. A larger moon, a mystic eye, Magic and wonder, as the hours fly. [Verse 2: Guy Fawkes Day, 5th November] Remember, remember, the fifth of November, The air is thick, with gunpowder's scent forever. Fireworks burst, a dazzling show, Bonfires roar, the flames leap high below. Then Taurids fall, a sparkled rain, As Leonids streak, again, again. [Chorus] Through autumn's embrace, the seasons turn, Memories linger, lessons we learn. From shadows to light, we find our way, In the cycle of life, day by day. From darkness to dawn, we rise above, In gratitude, and in love. [Verse 3: Remembrance Sunday, 2nd Sunday in November] In fields of red, where poppies grow, We stand in silence, for those below. The Moon ascends, with Jupiter's gleam, Remembering heroes, a fading dream. Saturn watches, in the night, Remembering those who gave their light. [Chorus] Through autumn's embrace, the seasons turn, Memories linger, lessons we learn. From shadows to light, we find our way, In the cycle of life, day by day. From darkness to dawn, we rise above, In gratitude, and in love. [Verse 4: Thanksgiving, 4th Thursday in November] From every corner, families arrive, To share this feast, and keep love alive. The table is set, with love and with care, As autumn leaves whisper, year after year. The moon and Saturn, a celestial sign, For blessings received, truly divine. [Chorus] Through autumn's embrace, the seasons turn, Memories linger, lessons we learn. From shadows to light, we find our way, In the cycle of life, day by day. From darkness to dawn, we rise above, In gratitude, and in love.
