Forgive us, Father

In skies where radiant light does gleam, Our Father, in Thy glory ever beam. Thy name is sacred, pure as morning's breath, May Thy kingdom know eternal breadth. Thy will be done, let it grace the earth, As in the heavens, each day brings its worth. Grant us our bread at the dawn of each day, With warmth of Thy love to guide us our way. Forgive us, Father, our trespasses made, As we forgive others, may mercy cascade. Lead us not into trials of deceit, Keep us from evils that in darkness creep. Great is the kingdom, the power, the might, In my heart evermore, a beacon of light. In prayer, in love, and in justice shall we. Our Father, guide us on our life's journey.
