[Verse] Puff the marshmallow dragon Soft as a cloud of cream Lived on a mountain of sugar Far away it seemed His wings were made of molasses Too heavy for the sky So Puff just stayed on the ground Watching birds go by [Chorus] Oh Puff Oh Puff You sweet and sticky thing You wobble when you're walking You can't hear angels sing But there's a little boy who sees the magic in your eyes And loves you for the dragon that can't conquer the skies [Verse] He tried to chase the fireflies But tripped on gummy stones His belly shook like jelly He let out candy groans The other dragons laughed at him They soared and darted high But Puff just sat there dreaming With frosting in his eye [Chorus] Oh Puff Oh Puff You sweet and sticky thing You wobble when you're walking You can't hear angels sing But there's a little boy who sees the magic in your eyes And loves you for the dragon that can't conquer the skies [Bridge] One day the boy climbed the mountain His heart so full of glee He hugged that marshmallow dragon Said "You're just right for me." Together they rolled through the meadows Laughing all the way Puff had found his purpose In the boy who came to stay [Chorus] Oh Puff Oh Puff You sweet and sticky thing You wobble when you're walking You can't hear angels sing But there's a little boy who sees the magic in your eyes And loves you for the dragon that can't conquer the skies
