The cross is where Jesus died for us, So we could be forgiven of our sins. The cross was a Roman torture method (that killed), A way to give punishment to the evil people and the prisoners. Being crucified on the cross was a painful punishment, One in which you suffer for a long time until you die. It was big and made out of wood, And it was heavy. The Cross is a symbol of Jesus' sacrifice. Of the sacrifices Jesus made for everybody on the earth, It represents pain and suffering. It’s also a symbol of people's lack of faith and fear of something different. Jesus was hung on the cross as if he was a horrible person, When in reality he was perfect. Dying on the cross was known as the worst form of punishment, But Jesus was dying on the cross as an innocent man. It showed us how much He loves and cares for us, How much he wants us to be with Him. Jesus was crucified on the cross and three days later he rose from the grave. Jesus died on the Cross but was used by God to redeem. The Cross is holy and it should be remembered forever.
