[Verse 1] I was born where main street meets mountains And sunshine creates rainbows in fountains With water falls and raging rivers And old north winds give you shivers [Verse 2] Where fortunes are made and lost And life lessons come with a cost Not always smooth sailing in the light But remember life is worth the fight [Chorus] Life’s highway isn't always smooth And sometimes you end up in a groove There are pot holes along the way But the course you must stay When life is beating you down And the world thinks you're a clown Keep your eyes on the tunnels light No matter how tough life is worth the fight [Bridge] When life has you down and out There's no time to set and pout Hold your head high and keep pushing on With a smile and a heart full of song [Guitar solo] [Verse 3] When storms block your way The price seems too much to pay It seems you're fighting all alone Remember storms they don't last long [Verse 4] So when life brings you to tears They wash out your eyes to see clear When lightning flashes and thunder roars Open your eyes and stay the course [Chorus] [Verse 5] Every mistake is a chance to learn Those bumps and bruises you ern Storm clouds part way to sun light Don't forget life is worth the fight [Chorus] [Fade to end]
