(Verse 1) This life is lost to clueless drifting, a mind caught wandering, looking, longing, seeking. For answers to questions both old and new, the simplest being "Who are you?" Moments caught in eternal strife, the endless battle of our hopes and lies. We tell ourselves within these thoughts that the answer exists, it's somewhere cloaked from prying eyes. (Chorus) Nothing hides those answers here, save ourselves from the cold grasp of darkness and the fear of death. We must reach the distant light and find a reason to continue to fight. To await an answer from lips divine, or hope to hear them in a whispered silence.. And does the voice that whispers back come in your own, or in another's tone? (Bridge) "Who am I?", the silence holds... Then softly, weakly, barely composed.. An answer comes, "You're all I know." The darkness starts to fade, the fear begins to lift, In that one soft answer, we find our greatest gift... (Outro) No longer lost to clueless drifting, no longer a wandering mind. The answer was within us all along, the truth we had to find. It's in our tone, it's in our voice! The only path, the only choice.. We are who we are, and who we are is who we're meant to be.
