Verse 1 She lies in bed, the covers pulled up to her chin. The night is loud, even though no one is speaking. Her gaze is fixed on the ceiling, hours drip slowly by, and every thought grows louder instead of quieter. Verse 2 She tried to be tired, to feel the day, to wear herself out. But her mind has no off switch. So she takes pills, little promises in white, swallowed with the hope that peace will finally come. Chorus But she stays awake, far too awake. Her body wants to sleep, but her mind won't let it. She yawns, turns over, closes her eyes, but the night remains wide open. Verse 3 The doctor writes new names on paper, stronger words, stronger doses. She just nods, takes them home, as if they were answers. She places them beside her bed, like a silent solution to a problem that never falls silent. Verse 4 Her thoughts go in circles, always the same paths, always the same questions, with no way out. She counts seconds, counts breaths, counts everything, except the thing she really needs: peace. Chorus She stays awake, far too long. Even weariness has abandoned her. Her eyes burn, but they won't close. The night knows no end for her. (Sleep does not come) Bridge At some point, it all becomes too much. She takes several pills at once... Not loudly, not suddenly, just heavily. So heavily that even hoping becomes exhausting. Verse She lies there, with closed eyes that finally give in. The thoughts grow quieter, slower, further away. For the first time in a long time everything feels calm. Outro The room remains silent. The night holds its breath. And the peace she had sought for so long comes in a way that no one can ever reverse. She falls asleep. Forever! (Forever) (Forever) (Yes, forever) Her breathing slows, until it stops completely. Her heart, full of pain, stops beating! (Forever)
