It's Better then Before

[Verse] Diary pages turn The ink’s still there Words of struggle Words of despair I see frustration I see destruction But that was then and this is now. [Prechorus] Step by step I climb the hill The world is brighter. Such joy to instil. [Chorus] It's Better than before Oh It's Better than before! It's all there in black and white I’m finding my way I’m opening the door Every little step Every fight I win Leads me to the light To the rising sun. Recorded on new pages. It's better than before Oh Much better than before! [Verse 2] Year on year entwined Helps heal my restless mind Breathing deep I’ve found my peace The chains are going I’ve found some release [Prechorus] Day by day I set it down reading back I can see things are better than before. Chorus] It's Better than before Oh It's Better than before! It's all there in black and white I’m finding my way I’m opening the door Every little step Every fight I win, Leads me to the light To the rising sun. Recorded on new pages. It's better than before Oh Much better than before!
