(Verse 1) The calendar page is ready to turn, The winter wind begins to blow. But there is a lesson our spirits must learn Far deeper than blankets of snow. We carry the weight of a world in a rush, The shadows of worry and fear, But everything changes inside of the hush When the true light of heaven draws near. (Chorus) So leave all your cares and your worries behind, Let the peace of His presence wash over your mind. For Christmas is more than a date on a frame, It lives in the beauty of praising His name! With the hope and the light of Jesus our Guide, We’ll walk through the darkness with faith by our side. No, it’s not just a season that fades into gray— We’re living out Christmas each, every day! (Verse 2) The decorations will pack up in boxes, The bright silver bells will go still. But the grace that He gave us is never undone, It shines from the cross on the hill. With mercy that’s new every morning we wake, And truth that sets every heart free, There’s a beautiful promise in each step we take When we live for the world we can't see. (Bridge) It’s found in a hand that is reaching to heal, In honor and kindness we choose to make real. It’s the grace in our speech, it’s the love in our eyes, Reflecting the Savior under everyday skies. (Guitar Solo / Instrumental Lift) (Chorus) So leave all your cares and your worries behind, Let the peace of His presence wash over your mind. For Christmas is more than a date on a frame, It lives in the beauty of praising His name! With the hope and the light of Jesus our Guide, We’ll walk through the darkness with faith by our side. No, it’s not just a season that fades into gray— We’re living out Christmas each, every day! (Outro) Every single day... Let His light guide the way. Put your worries behind, see His glory align. Jesus our Savior, day after day. Living out Christmas... every day.
