[male vocals] [Verse 1] On the shelf they sit, they wait, Eyes of glass in frozen state, But when the moon begins to rise, They sneak around, no one's the wise. [Chorus] Clowns of glass, they come to play, Whisper secrets 'til break of day, In the dark, they watch, they scheme, Creep into your quiet dream. [Verse 2] A giggle faint, a step so light, They tiptoe softly through the night, In your room, they linger long, Filling minds with something wrong. [Chorus] Clowns of glass, they come to play, Whisper secrets 'til break of day, In the dark, they watch, they scheme, Creep into your quiet dream. [Bridge] They bring you thoughts so cold, so vile, With painted faces of demon smile, In your nightmare, they reside, Turning peace to fear inside. [Chorus] Clowns of glass, they come to play, Whisper secrets 'til break of day, In the dark, they watch, they scheme, Creep into your quiet dream. [Outro] In every shadow, they remain, Evil thoughts, they leave their stain, The clowns of glass will never sleep, In your soul, their mark will seep.
