[Intro] [staccato electric guitar, syncopated bass, electronic drums] Too soon Too coming for you Too late, it's our fate We're not cuckoo, we just flew out the cocoon [Chorus] [layered female vocals] (Ooh-ooh) (Yeah) C-c-c-c-c-c-cocoon Watch me crack you wide open from the pit to the sky Now the butterfly's floating, used to hide in the dark Now I'm going and growing, wildflower through concrete Yeah, the healing is showing No more playing quiet, no more faking the smile I was stuck in that shell for a long ass while But the wings started twitching, the light started calling Now I'm soaring, exploding, no more stalling [Chorus] We're not cuckoo Flying out a cocoon, exploding, soaring High on healing vibes Too late, it's our fate Watch these wings ignite Cuckoo to cocoon We taking flight tonight [Verse 2] [bass-driven groove] Flying out a cocoon We coming for you Flying out a cocoon Healing vibes, baby (Uh, uh) I had to take measures to clear out the haze Now I'm dropping these tracks while the old me is dead From the whack with the back to the swish with the dish Now the butterfly laughs while the old cage gets dismissed You thought I'd stay quiet, stay broken, stay small But the cocoon got too tight and I outgrew it all Now I'm neon wings flashing in pink, teal, and gold Wildflower rising, watch the story unfold [Chorus] We're not cuckoo Flying out a cocoon, exploding, soaring High on healing vibes Too late, it's our fate Watch this power ignite Cuckoo to cocoon, yeah We all in the sky [Outro] [vocal ad-libs, fading instrumentation] Flying out a cocoon We out here healing, watch us fly Too soon, never Too coming for you, always Tish the dish, dropping the swish High on healing
