She's been hurt, she's been let down But she's picking herself up off the ground She's moving on, she's feeling free And she's on the rebound with me She's on the rebound with me She's found a good love and it's plain to see She's dancing around, feeling so carefree Cause she's on the rebound with me She's been through the fire and the rain But now she's smilin’ big again She's taking chances, she's taking risks She's gettin’ over her heartbreaks ’n twists She's on the rebound with me We're gonna ride this love like a melody We're gonna sing it loud, and sing it sweet Cause she's on the rebound with me We’re taking our time, We’re in no rush Til’ she lets go of all the pain and the fuss She's holding my hand, I'm holding hers too Takin’ each day as it is, cuz it’s all we can do She's on the rebound with me She's found true love in our melody We’re dancing around, feeling so carefree Cause she's on the rebound with me
