Mourning Glory Everyone, One day, we will all be part and parcel of posterity, and so today we share because so many of you in and out of Suno have extended your dear hearts and hands with love and care. Some of you know that our most Beloved Princeton The Cat has been traveling with a slow growing tumor that my daughter, dubbed Sweetpea, named "Swellington". She's quiet sometimes, but oh she can have such a wicked sense of humor that one. Now, if you listened to the song, Heaven's Super Star!, you know that I was hoping to cry only The Day After Tomorrow, and while that didn't happen exactly...there's often been a peaceful grace that can only come from people praying or my angels working overtime. Thank you to everyone who sent their kind thoughts and dear songs our way. We felt your soft warm love, for sure. And how the Countdown has brought us along, we remember everyday the delightful love that Princeton was, that he gave even if he did have a propensity for falling into intermittent rages when he had the energy for it 😼. We post this today because tomorrow we're all going to be busy taking Princeton to Gate 7 of Heavenly Air, where he'll take his final🛫 at 12:30pm. But before we go, we wanted to leave you with a Funny Story. I cannot tell how many times I have called a sibling and said, "Wanna hear a Funny Story?" They say it could fill an encyclopedia or two. Well, sometimes we wonder how we are going to be okay. You ever wonder that? I certainly did when I realized Princeton was trying to tell me that it was time to go. My head nodded yes and my heart said, "No!" So we were trying to figure out how to make Princeton's last flight peaceful and filled with light (if that is at all possible in such a situation). Then it came to mind that we could perhaps play a song on the overhead sound system of Flight 757, and so this Echo of a song was born. I was trying to soften its original edges a bit, and knew it was working when Princeton seemed to quiet down and fall asleep to it, so this is the song we will play before and throughout his flight. Now comes the Funny part. Funny Story: Monday evening, August 17th, Princeton is in the bathroom (our bathroom) where he's been hiding each night for the past couple of weeks. That's partly how we knew he was telling us it was time to go. So, it's Monday evening and we're trying to decide on which reprise version to use on Thursday the 20th, which is now tomorrow, and who comes running out of the bathroom as soon as he hears the music start? Princeton. He let's out a single Meow; jumps on his favorite shelf and settles in for a listen. Since he rarely comes out of the bathroom once he goes in for the night this was very surprising indeed. He looked so happy and peaceful, and that's when I knew that he would be alright. We would be alright too. Next day, we sent the song to our vet, whom Princeton loves, and she said that she played it for her dear nervous cat, who settled right down and listened intently. Now, the deal was sealed. Cat approved twice. So ends this Funny Story. We will be busy tomorrow with Princeton's Final Travel plans, but we wanted to Thank You in advance for listening to his life and stories and for the love and kind warmth you've returned time and time again. And now we wish you a Truly Great Day Filled With Heartwarming Peace & Love 💛 David (Aikawika), Sweetpea, Princeton and I send you this heartfelt wish...that you will know a life full of warm delight to balance any sorrows you may have along the way.
