I have good news. In a recent test, v6-mini did better when I prompted it to make metal progressive. The key was describing how the sound should develop, section by section. I started with a calm intro, then asked for the music to grow more progressive as it moved forward. That gave the piece room to build, and it helped the melodies feel stronger and more memorable. The test reminded me that a prompt works best when it tells a clear story of change: begin restrained, add complexity, and let the energy rise. I’m excited by the improvement, and I want to keep testing ways to guide the progression and bring out even better melodies.
