Falling Stars

Once we danced in the rain, Laughed at the dark and no fear of pain. The world was ours, or so we thought, Looking for our childhood lost. And time moves fast, like a playful wind, Oh how it flees... Stealing moments like falling leaves. Yet when I dream I still hear your name, Like a melody that'll never fade. We are falling stars, burning bright, Fading slowly, but we're still alive! Even in the dark we can shine, Feel your love and your light. They turned us away to leave us all alone, Darkness fell upon us, but we carried on. Through false smiles and no real goodbye, We found the truth behind that lie. And those who stayed they're the light we seek, The ones who love us fiercely. No need of words as we mend the pain, With them, we dance through fire and rain. We are falling stars, burning bright, Fading slowly, but we're still alive! Even in the dark we can shine, Feel your love and your light. Step by step, our hearts unite again, We walk with no regrets, side by side, hand in hand, We walk this road... like we're back there, again! We are falling stars, but we don’t fall far We live in the light of who we are Even when the night is long, Love will carry us like a song. Now fly like a butterfly... Now soar... Like a falling star.
