The Legend of Tirpitz

[Verse] In German seas a giant lay Steel and thunder Night and day She split the waves with power vast Tirpitz Queen of ocean's past [Chorus] Oh Tirpitz mighty Shadow's pride Under storm and star you glide With iron heart and cannon roar The seas remember Evermore [Verse] From fjord to fjord She hid her might A fortress floating Black as night Allies feared her iron jaws Her legend grew with every pause [Chorus] Oh Tirpitz mighty Shadow's pride Under storm and star you glide With iron heart and cannon roar The seas remember Evermore [Bridge] But shadows whisper Whispers loom Warriors cannot escape their doom From heights divine came fire untamed And crippled pride lost in the flames [Verse] Now resting deep beneath the waves Her silent tale in ocean graves Yet echoes sing in sailor's lore The name of Tirpitz Forevermore [Outro fading] The name of Tirpitz Forevermore The name of Tirpitz Forevermore
