-God of the Night- (V2) [EPICS]

[Verse 1] The wind caressed the temple Fell out of time The world spun around Then it started to slow We watched the moon turn over And what we saw below [Instrumental 1] [Verse 2] He stood there dark as a panther And barefooted in black All made up like a goddess With long hair down his back His smile and tears in his eyes He whispered "come follow me" But I was afraid of the night And the night it was he [Chorus] We saw Nyx in a man's disguise Black wings folding Dressed in a veil of lies Nyx as a man Hair of a long black strand When we asked him his name He just said, "Nyx" [Instrumental 2] [Verse3] His body stretched out like ivy And covered the floor We laid our heads on his shoulder And begged him for more Our fingers tied to his fingers He showed us the way Through doors and halls of a palace To the end of the day [Chorus] We saw Nyx in a man's disguise Black wings folding Dressed in a veil of lies Nyx as a man Hair of a long black strand When we asked him his name He just said, "Nyx" [Instrumental 3] [Verse 4] In his hand he held a lantern His eyes cast a light To guide us to the edge of the world And over the side I called him to stay by my side And he took my hand And in a voice as soft as the night He just said, "I am a man" [Instrumental 4]
