You sure? [Verse 1] The voice inside your skull is a sweet little lullaby The smoke in your veins is a bit too dry The demon in your mind is a cute lil' dog just be a second in my mind when the pills wear off [Verse 2] They are watching you They are listening They are learning They're not whispering They're telling me the truth or is it a lie? I don't know anymore They just want me to die (and it goes) [Chorus] X-X-X-X-Explicit That's my mind that hits. It's filled—with disturbing things, may the thoughts never end! I'll always be that creep! X-X-X-X-Explicit Tickstep [Break] They are watching me "No, we're not" They are listening "No, we're not... Or do we?" [Verse 3] I won't do those things it's inside my head it just has to stay there or else someone's — is it crazy to trust me in that phase of sanity or is it crazy to think I'd be their death penalty? [Call and response] Come on... don't overdo it I'm not That crazy, right? Yes you are, but no one knows it But they smell it through my gaze Nah... that's just your imagination, trust me So... thoughts are free? Yes, absolutely… they don't harm someone You mean I can think to myself… (and it goes) [Chorus] X-X-X-X-Explicit That's my mind that hits. It's filled—with disturbing things, may the thoughts never end! I'll always be that creep! X-X-X-X-Explicit Tickstep [Interlude] Playing with the scissors I'm not cutting through paper... Looking at the pigface Carving lines with a razor... Walking through a crowd The red wet it shines... But don't you worry it's only inside my mind... Or is it? [Chorus] X-X-X-X-Explicit That's my mind that hits. It's filled—with disturbing things, may the thoughts never end! I'll always be that creep! X-X-X-X-Explicit Tickstep —————————————————————— Story behind the song: After Luna Ticks disappearance, even Slade seem so be ticking a bit different than usual. It feels like his mind is even more crashing then before, making him see the world darker – waaaay darker. Is there someone secretly pulling strings in the background?
