Verse 1: (Oh yeah, alright) Cruisin' down the avenue, City lights are shining through, Got my mind on you, baby, Can't stop thinkin' 'bout the way you move. Velvet nights and neon dreams, You and me, we’re more than it seems, Your touch is all I need, Let’s get lost in this jazzy beat. Chorus: Midnight groove, baby, let it flow, We’re caught up in the rhythm, don’t you know? All night long, we’re dancing free, Your love’s the sweetest melody. (Oh, yeah) Midnight groove, don’t let it go, The world outside is moving slow, Feel the heat, let’s take it slow, In the rhythm of your soul. Verse 2: Smooth like velvet, smooth like gold, Got a fire burnin’, don’t need to be told, You’ve got that look in your eyes, And I can’t deny, it’s no surprise. Bassline’s thumpin’, sax is sweet, Every step we take is in the heat, You pull me close, I lose control, Got the rhythm deep inside my soul. Bridge: Let the sax play, let the bass drop, In the moonlight, we can’t stop. It’s a feeling that’s got me so high, Underneath the starry sky. (Feel it, feel it, feel it) This love is a groove that’s deep inside, Come on, let’s take that ride, No need for words, let the music decide, Tonight, we let the rhythm guide. Outro: (Oh) Midnight groove, feel it now, In your love, I’ll make a vow. We’re caught in this funky sound, Let’s dance forever, spinning ‘round.
