Raindrops on a sheet metal roof Someone softly reading the news A distant suitcase passing through Echoes in the nightly view Someone eating crispy lays But in my ears it will not stay The feeling of feathers on my face The sounds i crave while barely awake Shuffling papers on a desk Tiny goosebumps on my neck Foreign people talking beneath Softly felt while falling asleep Chains that razzle,keys or coins Weird phenomena in my loins Pleasant sounds but very strange What makes them feel that way A child's little voice, talking alone Soft like fingers on my backbone Nails tapping fast on a glossy screen Feels strangely good upon my skin Some sounds release shivers indeed Not at all made to please Just normal little things it seems While I'm falling asleep The sounds of a piano or lullaby Feels good,no wonder why But instead I sometimes wish to hear Stranger sounds to get that feel
