[Verse 1] Cleanse my heart, forgive my failures I'll leave my baggage on the shore As I go down under healing waters I'll say Your mine forever more [Chorus] Wash me clean Holy Spirit Wash me clean of all my sin Change my heart and purify it Let my Savior come pouring in [Verse 2] As I go down under healing waters I am praying that I will find A new Spirit that will lead me To a Christ centered state of mind [Chorus] Wash me clean Holy Spirit Wash me clean of all my sin Change my heart and purify it Let my Savior come pouring in [Verse 3] Wash me clean in my repentance By the Savior's precious blood So I can surface with thanksgiving In our God's babtismal flood [Bridge] I find it hard to come before You Knowing all the things I've done Wash me clean Holy Spirit With the blood of the Holy One [Chorus] Wash me clean Holy Spirit Wash me clean of all my sin Change my heart and purify it Let my Savior come pouring in [Outro]
