Can Anybody Hear Me? (Draven Overdrive)
“This is Draven. If anybody’s out there… ...Give me a signal... ...Give me a sign... ...let me know... ...I'm not losing my mind....” ..."Still nothing.?".... Morning breaks, but it feels the same. Sky shifts colors like it’s playing a game. Sun warms, but the room stays cold. Walk these streets like a story untold. Same faces, same blank eyes. I smile; I wave — but they just walk by. Feels like I’m living in a world half‑lit, where the lights stay on but nobody’s in it. Every day another voice goes quiet. Every night I climb the tower, tryin to find it Can anybody hear me… or am I talking to myself again? This is Draven — calling, calling… Waiting for a voice that isn’t mine to echo back from the empty sky...... “…Draven” Heard my name in the noise today. Soft and sharp in a haunted way. No call sign, no reply. Just my name on a broken line. I laughed because it can’t be real — but the laugh felt wrong, like a wound that didn’t heal. Streetlights blink out of time. Lights shift in the corner of my mind. Maybe the world is slipping below… or maybe I’m the one letting go. Every answer comes a little faster. Every silence cuts a little deeper. If you’re there… Don't speak yet. I need to know if the voice waits for me… or if it’s already in my head. Because lately… I can’t tell... Can anybody hear me… Please — call my name. Not the way the static does… The way a person would. A voice with warmth. A voice that proves the world DIDN'T END “This is…” … “This is…” … “…someone.” …signal lost…
