Cuchi-Cuchi-Panqueque-Peludo, The name of a plushy hero! The moon is high, the lights go dim, A cuddly toy wakes on a whim. Soft and fuzzy, round and small, Stretching his paws, ready for it all! Down from the bed with a silent hop, Through the hallway - clip, clip, clop! The house is big, the night is deep, Adventure calls while his kid’s asleep! Oh, Cuchi-Cuchi-Panqueque-Peludo, Brave and bold, a tiny hero! From the basement to the attic high, Under the stairs and past the sky! First the basement, cold and low, Pipes go drip and lights flicker slow. A broom says "BOO!" - he jumps up fast, It’s just the wind, it doesn’t last! Through the kitchen, past the chair, Cookie crumbs still hiding there. He takes a bite, a little treat, Chocolatey paws and sleepy feet. Oh, Cuchi-Cuchi-Panqueque-Peludo, Brave and bold, a tiny hero. From the basement to the attic high, Under the stairs and past the sky! A thump! A bump! A rattle near! He squeezes shut his fluffy ears. But wait - no monster, just the cat, Knocking over this and that! Up the staircase, fast as light, Away from things that creep at night. A dusty attic, big and wide, He scurries in and ducks inside. Cobwebs twist and curtains sway, A box of dolls - all stare his way! A rocking horse moves - just a bit! He gasps, he squeaks, but he won’t quit! A gust of wind, a creaky floor, A book falls down - BAM! - near the door! He shivers once, but he won’t cry, He’s "just" a toy, but brave inside. Down the hallway, soft and slow, Past a mirror, full of glow. Who is that? He stops to stare, It’s just his fluff in moonlit air! Oh, Cuchi-Cuchi-Panqueque-Peludo, Why do you roam where shadows go? The night is spooky, dark, and deep, But home is safe - shouldn’t you sleep? Back downstairs, he scurries fast, His wild adventure done at last. He leaps and lands - a perfect dive, Into the bed before it’s five! The sun peeks in, the sky turns bright, His kid wakes up to morning light. No one will know the things he’s seen, The spooky night, the things that lean! So if you wake and hear a sound, A creak, a thump, a pattering bound, It might just be, oh yes, it could, Be Cuchi-Cuchi, up to no good!
