Verse 1 The word of the Lord came through the prophet’s cry, “Consider your ways,” don’t just let time pass by. You sowed much seed, but the harvest is thin, Because My house lies in ruins while you build yours within. You chase your own comfort, you run from the call, But the work of My kingdom is neglected by all. The heavens hold back what your hands hope to find, Till you turn back to Me with your heart, soul, and mind. Chorus Build My house again, let the glory rise, Let the presence of the Lord fill the skies. Not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit within, Build My house again, build My house again. Verse 2 Take courage, Zerubbabel, stand firm, Joshua too, Haggai speaks hope in the work you must do. Though the temple looks small compared to the past, The latter glory will be greater at last. “I am with you,” the Lord of all says, So rise up and labor, rebuild in His ways. The gold and the silver belong to the King, And He’s shaking the nations—new glory will spring. Chorus Build My house again, let the glory rise, Let the presence of the Lord fill the skies. Not by might, not by power, but by My Spirit within, Build My house again, build My house again. Bridge From shaking heavens to trembling earth, God is revealing His kingdom’s worth. What was once broken will shine like the dawn, When the people of God keep pressing on. Final Chorus Build My house again, let Your presence stay, Turn our hearts from the empty ways. You are faithful, Your promise remains, Build Your house again, in Jesus’ name.
