Verse 1 Frost on the window, sunrise breakin’ through, Coffee’s on the counter in that mug I saved for you. This little house is quiet, but it’s glowin’ like the moon, ’Cause every Christmas morning still begins with you. Pre-Chorus And all the lights on the tree Ain’t as bright as they used to be… Till you walk in the room. Chorus Christmas starts with you — Every laugh, every kiss, every little thing we do. I could lose the tinsel, drop the plans, skip the rules… But it wouldn’t feel like Christmas without you. Yeah, the season finds its truth Every time I look at you — ’Cause Christmas… Christmas starts with you. Verse 2 Snowflakes in the driveway, footprints two by two, You’re hummin’ somethin’ soft from a song we always knew. And suddenly December feels as bright as Christmas noon, ’Cause every step I’m takin’ leads me back to you. Pre-Chorus And in the glow of the pine, Your hand in mine reminds What the season means to do… Chorus Christmas starts with you — Every laugh, every kiss, every little thing we do. I could lose the tinsel, drop the plans, skip the rules… But it wouldn’t feel like Christmas without you. Yeah, the season finds its truth Every time I look at you — ’Cause Christmas… Christmas starts with you. Bridge Take every memory, wrap it in red and white, Still nothing shines the way you shine tonight. You’re the reason my heart knows what the season’s meant to do… Yeah, Christmas starts with you. Final Chorus Christmas starts with you — Every laugh, every kiss, every little thing we do. Take the tree, take the lights, I’d still know the truth… It wouldn’t feel like Christmas without you. Yeah, forever feels brand new Every time I’m holding you — ’Cause Christmas… Christmas starts with you.
