Neon bleeds on blacktop, Ash drifts through the lot. Blank screen burning white, Midnight locks the night... Wake cold in a van, Jaw locked. Head jammed. Copper dust in lungs, Memory undone. Where the hell am I? Dark spark in my chest. Vision bends at edges. Nothing feels correct. Door slides: I hit the ground, Gravel cuts my hands. Engines growl all around, Crowd won’t understand. “Help me—” throat goes dry, Phones light up my pain. They just laugh and film, Like I’m staged again. Beam burns through my face, White blaze; no disguise. Like it knows my name... Like it knows my lies... Heartbeat to the eldritch hum, Low drum in my fuckin lungs. White light splits the smoke, Screen stares; ain't no joke... Midnight! at the drive-in White light slicing the night Ashfall wired inside As a signal comes alive Screen bends reality Something moves inside of me Void behind the projector beam Now it sees... all of me... My knees hit dirt — sky droops, roof loops overhead, Black stars fall like they’re shedding their skin. Sound drags slow like oil, a coil in my head, Air turns thick — like it’s closing me in! All the cars idle wrong, long tone in the wind, Pitch bends sharp like it’s ripping the game. Like tape caught in rewind, my mind misaligned, Like the world’s out of time but not the same. There’s a tone in my skull, dull pull in my brain, Deep and dark — like it lives in a grave. Each pulse spikes through mind, fine line out of line, Like a live wire wired to behave. I don’t know who I was, a buzz under my skin, Why they pumped me full of those drugs again? Beam starts to ripple thin, a bend from within, Like glass pressed by invisible thumbs. I scream “Stop!” — no sound, I drown in the crowd, They just laugh like I’m part of the show. Screen swells white — stretched thin, breathing me in, Like it’s feeding off the fear within... Numb in my teeth, Light cracks my belief. White flare splits the frame, Something old, says my name... Midnight! at the drive-in, Tears apart the night. Drive-in shifts to a gate, Something vast ignites. Ashfall found the seam, and let it bleed through me. Screen cracks heaven wide, Now the dark can see inside of me... Vision floods with light, Black veins lace the white. Screen bulges and tears, Something pushes like it's here. Shapes without a face, Mass without a form. Angles twist and break, Geometry reborn. Crowd goes dead and still, Engines choke and die. Phones drop in the ash, No one dares to cry. Memories all in shards, Cold rooms, White walls, and Guards. Needles down my spine, Voices whisper: “He’s aligned.” Strapped to a gurney while circuits were mapping my brain, Static in marrow, they fed me the signal through pain. Locked in a chamber, containment was never the fate, They didn’t build me to save us — They built me to open the fucking gate... Bait inside a cage, Tested on a stage. Drugged and left to rot, Till the signal caught. They refined the breach, Built me out of reach. Ashfall made the key, Now the door is inside me... White light floods my sight, Pulse locks into time. Screen and spine align, Now the gate is fucking mine... Midnight! at the drive-in, Split apart the white. Rip the signal free, Recode destiny. Ashfall forged this core, I am what it’s for. Screen tears — I'll kneel no more, I'll decide the war... Screen goes dead to black, Ash coats chrome and glass. Lot frozen in the dark, White light — final flash.
