[Intro] Door creaks open. Wind blows through an empty room. This place... Why does it feel like I've already been here? [Verse 1] Dust in the air, every step feel slow. House looked empty but it felt like home. Paint peeling off, floorboards crying out. Still I knew every room without a doubt. Walked down the hallway, heart skipped twice. Like I knew what was waiting on the other side. Reached for the handle before I could think. The second I touched it... everything blinked. Rain on a rooftop... somebody running. A little girl laughing... then suddenly nothing. Church bells ringing... a suit all black. Someone saying, "Don't leave..." then it faded to black. I caught my breath, tried to steady my feet. But the silence kept remembering more than me. [Hook] Pieces fall... then disappear. Close enough to feel, too far to hear. Every fragment leaves another scar. I'm still trying to find out who we are. [Verse 2] Closed my eyes, now the pictures got louder. Hands covered in dirt... then fields full of flowers. A train pulling out while somebody cried. A gold front door with the number twenty-five. Smoke in the distance, somebody screaming. A violin playing through the evening. None of it mine... at least that's what I tell myself. So why do they fit like memories I felt? Every single flash got harder to deny. Every heartbeat asking me the reason why. Then I heard a whisper clear as day... "You've been here before..." then it slipped away. Opened my eyes, standing still in the hall. One question left echoing through it all. [Hook] Pieces fall... then disappear. Close enough to feel, too far to hear. Every fragment leaves another scar. I'm still trying to find out who we are. [Outro] A floorboard creaks. There's someone upstairs.
