No matter how many times we fall, again and again, rise once more. The warm wind crossing Mount Aso blows beneath the same sky as it did that day. The roads that crumbled, the tears that fell, each becomes another step leading toward the future. Kumamoto Castle continues to tell its story. Though scarred, its pride will never break. The fire will not go out. The sun rising above its keep will continue to illuminate tomorrow. Again and again, rise, Land of Fire. Spread your phoenix wings and soar beyond the morning glow. With hearts that will not yield, with hands joined together, our smiles will surely return. Kumamoto, with hope in your heart, take another step forward. Fallen stones and broken branches will bloom again when spring comes. Through the summer, and beyond the winter, what has always been there will remain. With every tear we shed, we learn a little more kindness. So let us lift our eyes and keep moving forward. Again and again… Again and again… Rise once more… Land of Fire… Again and again… Even if the wounds of that day never disappear, the feelings born that day can become our strength. You are not alone. Beneath this sky, there is someone thinking of you. You are not alone… You are not alone… Beneath this sky… There is someone thinking of you… Again and again… Again and again… Again and again, rise, Kumamoto. The flame of the Land of Fire will never go out. Kumamoto Castle, shine upon the future. Become a phoenix whose name is hope. Now, with a smile, toward tomorrow.
