Verse 1 Praise Is my weapon of choice No matter what comes, I will praise and rejoice My praise draws my victory Closer to me I sing, lift my hands, Send my praise up— And victory comes down Pre-Chorus Lifting up the Most High With praises from my heart I’m praising in victory ’Cause the battle’s already won My weapon is praise And my victory is sure Chorus Making melodies in my heart, Singing psalms and spiritual songs to the Lord— That’s how I win, My victory comes from my praise. Rejoicing, lifting my hands, Even in my dance, My victory comes from my praise. Verse 2 When I’m standing in the fire, And the answer feels delayed, I will choose to keep on praising, Calling on Your holy name. Every tear becomes a testimony, Every trial brings me through, When I lift my voice in worship, You remind me what You’ll do. Pre-Chorus Lifting up the Most High With praises from my heart I’m praising in victory ’Cause the battle’s already won My weapon is praise And my victory is sure Chorus Making melodies in my heart, Singing psalms and spiritual songs to the Lord— That’s how I win, My victory comes from my praise. Rejoicing, lifting my hands, Even in my dance, My victory comes from my praise. Bridge My praise causes Walls to fall down, Chains to break, And my enemies to flee. When I lift up Your name, Battles turn, my victory’s released. When I praise, You move on my behalf— Because my victory comes From my praise. Outro / Vamp Victory comes from my praise, Victory comes from my praise. I’ll praise You in the waiting, I’ll praise You in the storm. Victory comes from my praise, Victory comes from my praise.
