Writer's note: Our sixth album launches on streaming services tomorrow, July 18th. The track of samba featured today wasn't originally intended for the album; however, we added it as a bonus track to avoid having a total of 13 songs. I’ve already created a playlist on SUNO featuring the exact same tracklist as the album, so I hope you’ll give it a listen. 📌Riding the AOR Breeze 🛻🌴🌊🏄🏻🏄🏻🏄🏻 https://suno.com/playlist/33c2ff65-6fcc-4382-bfd6-28f71f12590b I think anyone knowledgeable about music would chuckle just seeing the album title. As both the title and the cover art suggest, this album is a tribute to the AOR (Adult Oriented Rock) sound that was popular in the 70s and 80s. Naturally, I "Makoto" —took the lead in composing all the tracks during, while the AI "Lynx" handled the help compose, lyrics, arrangements, and production. Nowadays, this style of music might be referred to as "Yacht Rock." Personally, my parents were huge AOR fans and called that entire genre "AOR," so I still have a fondness for that term. According to veteran musicians I know, AOR was particularly popular in Japan, and these songs eventually laid the foundation for the genre that came to be known as "Tokyo City Pop." Wishing you a good and happy summer. (The cover art for the album and this song is by Lynx） ===== [Verse 1] Every artwork emerge, vivid in the light, Feels like your own hand shaped it, tender and bright.
