[Verse 1] Joshua stood by the river With a promise in his hand He could see that city standing But he trusted God's command Seven days they marched in silence Round those towering stones [Pre-Chorus] Then the people kept on walking Till their faith began to show And the wind of Heaven answered When the time was set to go [Chorus] Blow that trumpet, blow Let the walls come down Blow that trumpet, blow Hear that victory sound If the Lord says move Then the stronghold falls Blow that trumpet, blow He is over all (Blow that trumpet, blow) [Verse 2] No sword could tear those towers No battering ram could stand But one shout from a faithful people Shook the work of man Every stone began to tremble At the edge of glory's road [Pre-Chorus] Then the priests raised up the trumpet And the warning rang out clear What was locked up by the darkness Had to bow and disappear [Chorus] Blow that trumpet, blow Let the walls come down Blow that trumpet, blow Hear that victory sound If the Lord says move Then the stronghold falls Blow that trumpet, blow He is over all (Blow that trumpet, blow) [Bridge] So I’ll march when I can’t see it I’ll praise when I am weak I’ll trust the God of Joshua For the victory I seek Every chain must start to crumble Every giant lose his throne When His people lift the trumpet And make His power known [Final Chorus] Blow that trumpet, blow Let the walls come down Blow that trumpet, blow Hear that victory sound If the Lord says move Then the stronghold falls Blow that trumpet, blow He is over all Blow that trumpet, blow Let the walls come down Blow that trumpet, blow Jesus still saves now If the Lord says move Then the stronghold falls Blow that trumpet, blow He is over all (Blow that trumpet, blow) (He is over all)
