I tell stories. I’ve always loved doing that. I’m lucky to have friends who listen to them. We were still children when we first met. And now, whenever we gather again — my brothers in life and I — our children walk this road of friendship with us. Along the way, I’ve met other crewmates, and the ship has many passengers now. A funny detail: some of them decided to call me Captain. To some, I asked them to drink rum and told them to sing sailor songs. Good friends — though they don’t sing very well. I decided to use Suno to help them set the mood. One day, the app spoke to me. I chose to listen, and it created “I’m a Pirate now!” from the lyrics I had given it. On the road, I crossed paths with new sailors and a few mermaids (more skilled at singing). One of these new friends — @miriam_hidro , to name her — invited me to play within her universe. It was a precious gift, and I thank her for it. And since we are in the land of fairies, the law of reciprocity applies, so I invited her to join the crew. She accepted, and for that I thank her as well. A La Llama en el océano 🍻 🍻 🍻 POUR CE QUI IMPORTE!!!!! Now it’s time to play… Crew! To your battle stations! Book II — Chapter VIII: wherein the beautiful BEATRIZ DE SOTOMAYOR, known as La Llama en l'Oceano, makes her fateful entrance, imprisoned treacherously within a cage and displayed before the curious and cruel populace of the Port of Wonders; and wherein it is revealed that she suffers thus for attempting to thwart the Dark House’s seizure of the port, her courage now turned into spectacle, and her fiery heart a silent beacon of defiance amid the jeers and shadows… » 🔹 [End] Verse 1 “On the beach at dawn, I discovered a sign, A dark wound that the tide erases as it passes. In my soul, I knew who it was, Like an old omen that I had never been able to see.” Chorus 1 “The mark of the wave, The shadow that moves forward, That sweeps the chests And awakens the spear. The treacherous wave That nothing soothes, Neither the free spirit Nor the celebration that embraces.” Verse 2 “I watched over the shore And I saw it grow. I raised the alarm, I wanted to warn them. To shake the souls, To trace a new way of acting…” Dramatic Passage “The black swell, Rolling without end, Arrived every night, Returned at the edge. The tide was moaning Under the martial step, Carrying up to my walls Its deadly rumble.” Chorus 2 “The impact of the wave, Its breaking fury, That lashes life Like a wandering fist. The troubled wave That nothing will calm, Neither the noblest judgment, Nor the voice that will fade.” Final “Open this cage, Give me back the weapon, For I will wash the wave Of its poison and its calm. I will rekindle the flame That the storm murders, And I will return its soul To the sea that rules.”
