[Verse 1] We guard the walls we built out of our fear A quiet word is hard to find or hear We count the debts and carry every spark Of older fires burning in the dark But holding tight only keeps us in the cold A heavy weight that's getting far too old [Pre-Chorus] But there's a crack where the light is breaking through An open hand is a different kind of view Before the anger takes another turn We have a lesson we can choose to learn [Chorus] Choose to be kind, let the armor fall away Forgive the words that we didn't mean to say With empathy we find a brand new start A quiet revolution of the heart It changes everything, it changes you and me The simplest choice can set the whole world free [Verse 2] We see the bruise and recognize the pain No longer needing someone else to blame A gentle look can quiet down the storm Within the silence, something starts to warm We find our strength in standing side by side No longer driven by a fragile pride [Bridge] It starts inside, a whisper in the crowd A softer wave that rises deep and loud Not backing down, but stepping into grace To find ourselves within another's face [Chorus] Choose to be kind, let the armor fall away Forgive the words that we didn't mean to say With empathy we find a brand new start A quiet revolution of the heart It changes everything, it changes you and me The simplest choice can set the whole world free [Outro] Just choose to be kind Let the healing start A revolution of the heart [Instrumental Outro] [Fade Out]
