[Instrumental Intro] (Heavy syncopated guitar riffs driving over double bass pedals) (Atmospheric synth fading in) [Verse 1] I’ve been suspended in the atmosphere Caught in the current of a blinding fear Lost all direction in the falling rain Numbing the senses to ignore the pain [Pre-Chorus] (Building tension, driving guitars) The gravity is pulling me Tearing through the fantasy I need to feel the earth below Before I let the final shadows grow [Chorus] (Soaring, epic clean vocals, open wide chords) Now I’m back on the ground Where the shattered pieces fall Listening to the sound Of the distant fading call I’ve been flying too high, chasing the sun But the runaway dream is over and done Yeah, I’m back on the ground [Verse 2] (Aggressive rhythmic bounce, tight drums) Dusting the ashes from my broken wings Facing the truth that the daylight brings No more illusions in the empty sky No more believing in the beautiful lie [Pre-Chorus] (Building tension, driving guitars) The gravity is pulling me Tearing through the fantasy I need to feel the earth below Before I let the final shadows grow [Chorus] (Soaring, epic clean vocals, open wide chords) Now I’m back on the ground Where the shattered pieces fall Listening to the sound Of the distant fading call I’ve been flying too high, chasing the sun But the runaway dream is over and done Yeah, I’m back on the ground [Guitar Solo] (Fast, technical progressive metal guitar solo) (Complex drum fills and sweeping arpeggios) [Bridge] (Half-time feel, heavy and atmospheric) All the voices in my head Quiet down and leave me here instead I can finally breathe I can finally see [Chorus] (Explosive final chorus, maximum energy) Now I’m back on the ground Where the shattered pieces fall Listening to the sound Of the distant fading call I’ve been flying too high, chasing the sun But the runaway dream is over and done Yeah, I’m back on the ground [Outro] Back on the ground (Heavy chugging riff fading out) I'm finally found. [End]
