God spoke light into existence Out of darkness Out of nothing Out of the primordial void The blackening The Nigredo The place where everything begins Before the light has a name God is the void God is the dark God is the silence Before the spark God is the mystery Before the mind The thing that creates What the eyes cannot find Christ consciousness The mind awake Love is God The choice we make God is a creator And then God spoke LIGHT But here’s the paradox If God created light What was God Before the light? Darkness The Nigredo The black The womb The unseen And what if light Isn’t the opposite of God? What if light Is the other side? Yin Yang ☯️ Black pulls toward white White pulls toward black Light reaches into darkness Darkness answers back Magnetism Melanin Blackness Nigredo Drawn toward the light And light Drawn toward the dark Opposites Not enemies Two halves Of the same design The sun rises The shadow falls One reveals One conceals And somewhere between them Creation calls God spoke light into existence But God did not disappear When the light appeared The void remained The dark remained The mystery remained Because without darkness You would never see the light And without the light You would never know The dark Yin Yang ☯️ Black White Light Night Pulling Pushing Near and far Everything becoming Exactly what it is Magnetism Maybe that’s the secret Not good against evil Not light against dark But attraction Reaction Creation A cosmic conversation Between what can be seen And what cannot God is the creator God is the void God is the spark God is the silence God is the dark And when God spoke The darkness did not die It became the canvas For the light Yin Yang ☯️ Light needs shadow Shadow needs light Neither one exists Without the other So don’t tell me The darkness is evil And don’t tell me The light is good Ask instead What are they creating When they meet? Because everything That ever came into being Came from somewhere Before it could be seen And maybe That somewhere Was God.
