[Intro] (piano solo, high register, gentle) [Verse 1] Beyond the window snow was falling In colors that had no name Inside the light I couldn't touch I thought I saw you there Before a morning no one knew We had our secret words I can't remember them anymore But my heart still knows [Pre-Chorus] Somewhere far Bells are ringing Hands reaching out Never touching [Chorus] In forbidden colours We found each other Sharing something Words could never hold Before it disappears Just once more I want to write your name Upon the snow [Interlude] (piano solo, middle register, rubato) [Verse 2] With every changing season I remember your profile You smiled without a word I'm still searching for its meaning In time that was not allowed We were alive together Choosing beauty over rightness No regrets remain [Pre-Chorus] Breathing on A frozen window Just a moment Before it fades [Chorus] In forbidden colours We found each other Sharing something Words could never hold Before it disappears Just once more I want to write your name Upon the snow [Bridge] If I were born again I'd make the same mistakes I wouldn't mind at all If I could meet you there In pale blue before the dawn Where no one else can see There was a colour Only we could know [Final Chorus] In forbidden colours We found each other Sharing something Words could never hold Even if it disappears I won't forget Your name keeps falling Like the snow [Outro] (piano fade, high register, single notes) La la la...
