[Pre-Chorus]
Set the game to speed five, let the time fly by
Watching the world burn beneath a grey sky
Waiting for the Germans to march on the Dane
So I can break the chains and start my campaign!

[Chorus]
We are Iceland, the lords of the cold!
With one single rifle, we're brave and we're bold
The world is at war, but we're fishing for cod
A one-province nation defying the odds!
We don't need a navy, we don't need a tank
We'll conquer the globe... wait, the screen just went blank!

[Verse 2]
Nineteen-forty-one, the British arrive
They want to build a base, just to survive
I deployed a militia, it took me four years
A thousand brave men conquering their fears
I started to justify on the USA
It’ll take nine hundred days, but I'll make them pay
Got one submarine in the naval queue
Watch out Royal Navy, we're coming for you!

[Bridge]
The ultimate meme, the impossible run
Staring at the screen, yeah this is so much fun
When the nuclear bombs fall on London and Rome
We’re completely ignored, safe in our icy home
No supply hubs to build, no logistics to track
Just an island of ice, and we’re not looking back!

[Guitar Solo - Surprisingly epic and fast, completely unfitting for the situation]

[Outro]
Game speed: Five.
Manpower: Twelve guys.
World conquest: Imminent.
(Fade out with the sound of seagulls, ocean waves, and someone loudly clicking a mouse)

[Verse 1] A frozen rock sitting up in the sea I’m just a puppet, I am not even free Denmark's in charge, but they're looking away I’ve got zero manpower to use today No civilian factories, no military gear Just me and the puffins, waiting out the year I click on my army, but there's nothing to see Just a lonely commander and a freezing decree [Pre-Chorus] Set the game to speed five, let the time fly by Watching the world burn beneath a grey sky Waiting for the Germans to march on the Dane So I can break the chains and start my campaign!
