She left the warmth of a Florida sky For distant roads she couldn’t define With open hands and a willing heart She took a step… she played her part Two drops of hope in a child’s smile Two drops that can change a life She held the future in her hands In ways she never could have planned And with each child, her purpose grows In just two drops… hope flows She saw the cost, she felt the weight Of lives that changed a moment too late But still she gave, and still she goes Because now she sees… the difference it shows Two drops of hope, a rising dawn A world where polio is gone And every life in freedom grows Through just two drops… hope flows Just two drops… And a life is changed Thank you, Rotary Bye Bye, polio
