[Verse 1] Hitchhiker standing by the side of the road Pale face glowing in a heavy fog code Pulled the truck over just to give her a ride She sat in silence on the passenger side Dropped her at the address where the graveyard stands Looked in the rear view, only dirt on my hands [Pre-Chorus] Cold wind blowing right through the open door She ain't the first one walking this floor! [Chorus] Tell me ghost stories in the dead of the night! Flickering shadows giving everyone a fright! Spirits in the attic and a chill in the spine We’re losing our minds just to have a good time! Yeah, sing me a ghost story! [Verse 2] Third floor hallway where the floorboards creak Nobody lived there for about two weeks Turned on the faucet, saw the red water pour Footsteps running heavy right across the floor Looked in the mirror with the candle burnt low Saw a stranger standing right behind me, oh no! [Pre-Chorus] Cold wind blowing right through the open door She ain't the first one walking this floor! [Chorus] Tell me ghost stories in the dead of the night! Flickering shadows giving everyone a fright! Spirits in the attic and a chill in the spine We’re losing our minds just to have a good time! Yeah, sing me a ghost story! [Bridge] Lights out! Power grid is snapping in two! Something in the darkness is reaching for you! Tear down the walls and let the panic break through! [Chorus] Tell me ghost stories in the dead of the night! Flickering shadows giving everyone a fright! Spirits in the attic and a chill in the spine We’re losing our minds just to have a good time! [Outro] Yeah, sing me a ghost story! Sing me a ghost story
