[Verse] The stone was heavy the night was still But love was stronger it broke the chill The grave was empty the dawn began A victory written by God's hand [Verse 2] The sun it rose to light the sky Hope returned it could not die Chains were shattered sin undone Through Him we’re free, God's risen Son [Chorus] He rose again oh death is gone The power of love forever strong The world may shake but we will stand On the promise of His mighty hand [Verse 3] The scars He bore they tell the tale Of grace that triumphs it will not fail Through every tear and every cry His love redeems it lifts us high [Bridge] Oh grave where is your victory now Oh death where is your final vow The stone rolled back the veil was torn In His new life we are reborn [Chorus] He rose again oh death is gone The power of love forever strong The world may shake but we will stand On the promise of His mighty hand
