He Could Have Chose None
God reigns in sovereign rule over all In the garden of Eden right after the fall He made a promise to Adam and Eve Of a Savior who’d bring eternal reprieve. This plan to God was nothing new Before the foundations of the world He already knew The ones He had chosen to receive His embrace The ones He would save by His sovereign grace. Some say that God looked down the corridors of time To see just who’d pull themselves out of sin and grime Others believe what the Scriptures say That man was dead and couldn't find the way. Disabled by lust and dead in sin Men had know way to even begin To seek after the God they hated so well Their feet were running to the depths of hell. So if you’ve been saved by God’s sovereign grace Pour out your thanks with hands upraised You didn’t choose God, He chose you first Through Christ He’s removed the death of the curse. The miracle is that God chooses even one Wretched sinner from Hell, He could have chose none. “What if God, willing to show His wrath, and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had afore prepared unto glory.”
