There is a Lamb who paid the cost!

[Intro — spoken, ominous] There are two proprietors of men. Two rulers whom they serve. There are heirs of wrath— and heirs of God. My dear hearer... What are you? If you are not Christ’s— you are none of His. [Verse 1] Two roads stretch before us, Two masters call our name. One leads toward the darkness, One burns with living flame. There are heirs of wrath, And heirs of God above. There is no middle kingdom— There is Christ, And there is none. [Chorus] None of His! None of His! What a dreadful word to hear! None of His! None of His! With eternity drawing near! But there is still a Savior, There is mercy at the cross! Look to Jesus Christ the Redeemer— And be saved from endless loss! [Verse 2] A waif upon the ocean, A wreck upon the sea, Drifting toward destruction— What will become of me? Away, away, away, Where hope will never shine, Where despair lasts out eternity Beyond the reach of time. [Chorus] None of His! None of His! What an awful epitaph! None of His! None of His! When the years have all gone past! To see the King in beauty And know He is not yours— To stand before the throne of God With mercy shut outside the door! [Verse 3 — building tension] Upon the mouth of hell I stand, A plank beneath my feet. A slender thread of mercy Is all that stands between. The angel of justice waits, The judgment hour draws near— O God, how dreadful to remain Unforgiven here! [Breakdown — almost whispered] None of His... To live none of His... To die none of His... To wake on resurrection morning— NONE OF HIS! [Verse 4 — the turn] But wait! There is a Savior! There is a crimson cross! There is a Shepherd seeking sheep! There is a Lamb who paid the cost! Look to Jesus! Look to Jesus! Lift your eyes and live! The Savior stands with open arms— Believe! Believe! Believe! [Chorus — transformation] Christ is mine! Christ is mine! By the mercy of the cross! Christ is mine! Christ is mine! I am found and never lost! No longer doomed and drifting, No longer cast away— The blood of Jesus speaks for me! I am His today! [Bridge — gospel proclamation] There is life in a look! There is life in a look! Look to the crucified Redeemer— There is life in a look! Trust Him! Trust Him! Trust Him! The Spirit comes as you believe! Trust Him! Trust Him! And live! [Final Chorus — huge choir] I am His! I am His! Let the whole creation hear! I am His! I am His! Jesus Christ has drawn me near! No more wrath! No more wandering! No more drifting on the sea! The Shepherd found this dying sheep And brought me home eternally! I am His! I am His! Jesus Christ belongs to me! [Finale — choir fading] There is life... In a look... At the crucified Redeemer. Look to Jesus... And live. [Spoken Outro] From Spurgeon Gems dot org. Go there to read some more.
