falling empires
[Verse 1] I come from soil where the rivers carry poison through the grain, Where children learn that hunger and survival mean the same, Where every shattered roadway tells a story left untold, And foreign flags still cast their shadows over what we hold, I’m from the coastlines where the waves still echo human cries, Where stolen bodies vanished underneath colonial skies, Where every election changes faces not the hands, And wealthy nations drain the life from dying lands, Where violence always hides beneath a badge and colored light, It walks the open streets and turns the daylight into night, Where bombs from older wars still sleep beneath the dirt, And every generation inherits someone else’s hurt, Where factories steal breath slowly one shift at a time, And desperation turns the starving to organized crime, Where speaking out will cost a hand, a brother, and a name, And silence spreads because the fear consumes the same, I’m from where children disappear while leaders preach relief, And holy men bless conquerors while feeding on belief, Where cameras never stay because the truth becomes too real, And every wound gets buried beneath another deal, They stole the language from our mouths and called it peace, Turned culture into fragments just to keep us weak, They taught us hate ourselves and to glorify the chains, Then blamed us for the blood collecting underneath the reigns, So when the pressure finally ruptures through the skin, Don’t act surprised when revolution learns to speak again. [Verse 2] I was five years old when soldiers burned my village to the ground, Smoke consumed the sky while bodies disappeared without a sound, He stood above the fire wearing serpents like a crown, And every scream around me felt designed to drag me down, Black masks moving through the ash like demons in the heat, Dragging fathers from their homes and piling corpses in the streets, They chained me in the darkness till the hatred learned to breathe, Fed me violence every day until there was nothing underneath, Then one night I broke the iron, drove a blade into his chest, Watched the tyrant drown in blood while fury thundered in my chest, I took the throne he built from fear and sharpened it with pain, Built an empire out of vengeance forged in famine, ash, and rain, Kings collapsed beneath the riots growing wild through every town, Palaces became infernos while the statues tumbled down, Children saluting fallen fathers swearing vengeance in the cold, Another cycle born the second grief begins to take its hold, I walked among the desperate and taught them how to rise, Turned their suffering into purpose, turned their anger into knives, Every prophet preaching peace eventually became my blade, Every righteous holy war another mass-produced charade, [Verse 3] History repeats itself through different flags and different names, But every empire feeds itself by manufacturing pain, I watched belief become a weapon pointed at the weak, Watched politicians manufacture enemies to keep, Every starving child eventually becomes a storm, When all they know is watching power crush another form, The heavens never answered when the flood began to rise, So people built their gods from desperation and from lies, And maybe I became the thing the system feared the most, A living consequence created by the ones in control, Every broken generation leaves a scar that multiplies, And every buried truth eventually survives, Now the fires spread faster than the rulers can contain, Because the world they built from suffering was always bound to break, No mercy left inside the architecture they designed, Only echoes of the dead returning through the minds, And when the final silence settles over ruined thrones, The powerful will understand the monster that they’ve grown. [Outro] Every empire leaves another fracture in the stone, Every act of violence echoes long after it’s gone, Truth survives hidden underneath the smoke and blame, And history keeps repeating till the world consumes the same.
