[Verse 1] You came to town with an open door But they turned away when you asked for more You gave them peace, you gave them truth Still they refused the living proof So don't let their coldness bind your feet There's another heart where grace can meet Take what you carried, leave what was rough Keep moving forward, shake the dust off [Chorus] Shake the dust off, shake the dust off From your shoes and let the burden fall If they won't receive the word you bring Go where a waiting heart can sing Shake the dust off, shake the dust off God is still calling, so answer the call Don't turn bitter, don't give up Keep walking in faith, shake the dust off [Verse 2] The Master sent them two by two With a holy charge and a work to do Not every house would welcome their name Not every town would honor the flame But rejection cannot cancel grace It only sends you to another place When mercy is refused enough Stand up in courage, shake the dust off [Chorus] Shake the dust off, shake the dust off From your shoes and let the burden fall If they won't receive the word you bring Go where a waiting heart can sing Shake the dust off, shake the dust off God is still calling, so answer the call Don't turn bitter, don't give up Keep walking in faith, shake the dust off [Verse 3] Don't carry their answer into tomorrow Don't build your home inside their sorrow The word is a seed, the field is wide There are hungry souls on the other side Some will hear and some will turn away But the Lord has given you work today Let obedience be strong enough To leave rejection, shake the dust off [Bridge] [Leader] If they won't hear— [Choir] Shake it off! [Leader] If they won't see— [Choir] Shake it off! [Leader] If they won't receive— [Choir] Shake it off! [All] The gospel still goes on! [Verse 4] So bless the road and bless the next door Bless every soul you've been sent toward The kingdom is near, the harvest is great There is no time to sit at the gate With clean hands lifted and a fearless heart You can follow wherever God says start When the old ground clings and holds you up Give God your witness, shake the dust off [Final Chorus] Shake the dust off, shake the dust off From your shoes and let the burden fall If they won't receive the word you bring Go where a waiting heart can sing Shake the dust off, shake the dust off God is still calling, so answer the call Don't turn bitter, don't give up Keep walking in faith, shake the dust off [Outro] [Leader] Shake it! [Choir] Shake it off! [Leader] Move on! [Choir] Shake it off! [All] The word will go, the work goes on— Shake the dust off!
