[Verse] He found it there in the forest dim A cap so red with a snowy rim A mushroom waiting A tempting hymn He asked the woods Should I give in [Prechorus] The trees just creaked The wind stood still His heart said yes His mind said thrill [Chorus] Dance with the mushroom Take a bite Spin through the shadows Into the night Oh what a world What a curious sight When you dine on a mushroom delight [Verse 2] The stars grew close The ground grew far He rode a beetle Drove it like a car The moon turned blue Then a fiery scar He laughed so loud Bizarre bizarre [Prechorus] The whispers came From roots and dew "Welcome Friend We’ve been waiting for you" [Chorus] Dance with the mushroom Take a bite Spin through the shadows Into the night Oh what a world What a curious sight When you dine on a mushroom delight
