Hebrews 11 B

V6

[Intro: Deep male voice over tres guitar, bass, and gentle claves] Faith is more than words. Faith is trusting Yahuah when the test comes. Faith obeys, even when the cost is great. And faith keeps walking. [Verse 1: Strong male lead, steady Cuban son rhythm] Abraham faced the greatest test, His promised son was at stake. Isaac was the child of promise, Yet Abraham trusted the path Yahuah would make. He believed Elohim could raise the dead, Even if death took his son away. And when the offering was stopped, He received Isaac back that day. Isaac blessed the future generations, Though the promise was still to come. Jacob blessed the sons of Joseph, Trusting Yahuah when his days were done. Joseph spoke of Israel leaving Egypt, And gave instructions for his bones. He knew the promise would be fulfilled, Though he would not see his people home. [Pre-Chorus: Male harmonies rise] The promise may be far away, But faith remains when skies turn gray. We trust the One who sees the end, Our faithful Elohim, our King and Friend! [Chorus: Huge male ensemble, strong call-and-response] LEAD: Faith obeys! MEN: Faith obeys! LEAD: Faith stands strong! MEN: Faith stands strong! ALL: When the road is hard and the cost is high, We trust Yahuah, we will not deny! Through every trial, through every test, We trust His promise, He knows what is best! [Verse 2: Lead vocal with piano montuno and percussion] Moses was hidden when he was born, His parents trusted and refused the fear. They would not bow to Pharaoh's order, They protected the child held dear. When Moses grew, he made his choice, He would not live for Egypt's throne. He chose to suffer with Yahuah's people, Rather than enjoy riches that would soon be gone. He valued the reproach connected with Messiah, More than Egypt's treasures and fame. He looked toward the reward ahead, And trusted Yahuah's holy name. He left Egypt without fearing the king, For the invisible One was real to him. He kept the Passover, marked the doors with blood, And trusted Yahuah to protect them. [Pre-Chorus: Trumpets answer the lead] The sea stood before them, the army behind, But faith held fast to the promise divine. They walked on dry ground through the mighty sea, And Yahuah brought His people free! [Chorus: Full male choir, lively Cuban son groove] LEAD: Faith obeys! MEN: Faith obeys! LEAD: Faith stands strong! MEN: Faith stands strong! ALL: When the road is hard and the cost is high, We trust Yahuah, we will not deny! Through every trial, through every test, We trust His promise, He knows what is best! [Bridge: Percussion strips back, then builds] Jericho's walls fell after seven days, The people obeyed Yahuah's ways. Rahab welcomed the spies with peace, And through her faith, she found release. She trusted what Yahuah was doing, While others refused to believe. Faith is a choice that becomes action, A promise we follow, a truth we receive. [Final Chorus: Powerful male ensemble and brass] FAITH OBEYS! FAITH STANDS STRONG! YAHUAH IS FAITHFUL! HIS PROMISE LIVES ON! When the road is hard and the cost is high, We trust Yahuah, we will not deny! Through every trial, through every test, We trust His promise, He knows what is best! [Outro: Deep male voices in harmony] We trust His promise. We follow His way. Faith obeys. Yahuah is faithful.
